    1. Hi Rekha, welcome to the blog! And thank you. A haiku is a Japanese form of poetry. It is basically a very short poem of 3 lines and a total of 17 syllables (5-7-5 respectively), traditionally. It is concise, meaningful and observational and often has references to nature. It is a beautiful form and personally, it is one of my favourites.
